Unironically, it’s important to know when you’re the bad guy.
As much as we’d like to think otherwise, there’s a strong chance that we may have been the “bad guy” or “villain” in certain relationship or friendship dynamics.
Being able to sit with ourselves and acknowledge our insecurities, shortcomings, and egotistical behavior is a NECESSARY part of the maturation process.
Doing so shouldn’t be to beat yourself up for past mistakes, but should instead be a mechanism by which you can SHOW UP as a more enlightened, self-aware version of yourself in current relationships and friendships.
Confronting our demons and bad habits isn’t fun, but it’s crucial in order to accept our shadow selves and step into the light…and who we want to be.
deeeekooooo! beautiful piece!
