Know When You’re The Bad Guy

Unironically, it’s important to know when you’re the bad guy.

As much as we’d like to think otherwise, there’s a strong chance that we may have been the “bad guy” or “villain” in certain relationship or friendship dynamics. ⁣

Being able to sit with ourselves and acknowledge our insecurities, shortcomings, and egotistical behavior is a NECESSARY part of the maturation process. ⁣

Doing so shouldn’t be to beat yourself up for past mistakes, but should instead be a mechanism by which you can SHOW UP as a more enlightened, self-aware version of yourself in current relationships and friendships. ⁣

Confronting our demons and bad habits isn’t fun, but it’s crucial in order to accept our shadow selves and step into the light…and who we want to be.
