I hate to admit it, but I love fast food.
The convenience, and cost, often cannot be beat.
However, it is well known that it is not the healthiest option when it comes to eating.
After years of perusing various drive thrus and fast casual places, I have found a few (somewhat) healthy fast food options!
Protein style cheeseburger from In-N-Out
330 calories, 33 grams of protein, 11 grams of carbs, and 25 grams of fat
Tip: swap the spread for ketchup and mustard to cut 7 grams of fat!
Grilled chicken soft taco from Del Taco
210 calories, 12 grams of protein, 16 grams of carbs, and 12 grams of fat
Tip: 2 of these makes for an under 500 calorie lunch!
Turkey and provolone sub on wheat bread from Jersey Mike’s
340 calories, 24 grams of protein, 44 grams of carbs, and 7.5 grams of fat
Tip: ask for it “in a tub” (aka in salad form) and cut 100 calories!
Mini beef bowl with brown rice from Flame Broiler
365 calories, 31 grams of protein, 46 grams of carbs, and 7 grams of fat
Tip: skip the rice and choose all veggies for more nutrients!
Chopped vinaigrette salad from Pick Up Stix
350 calories, 20 grams of protein, 24 grams of carbs, and 20 grams of fat
Tip: go meatless and swap the chicken for tofu!
