I spend the weekends with my boyfriend, so after having a leisurely morning with him (we went to get coffee then made breakfast and watched Netflix) I headed home around 4pm.
Shortly after I got home, I went to Target with my younger sister to pick up some travel necessities (mini shampoo, mini conditioner, mini body wash, Dramamine, etc.) for the vacation my boyfriend and I are going on.
After Target, I went to Trader Joe’s with my younger sister. While there, I bought some fresh lemons and a cucumber to make detox or “spa” water, a Granny Smith apple for a snack, a few Greek yogurts (they’re my go-to breakfast lately), and a pre-made salad (I love their kale and broccoli slaw one).
Once I got home and unpacked my goodies, I allowed myself a half hour or so to relax before jumping into my schoolwork for the night.
I reviewed the emails (111 to be exact) I had prepared to send out on Tuesday then proceeded to complete my lecture notes for my online class.
Tuesday February 19, 2019
After waking early, I took my younger sister to class.
I then sent out the emails I had prepared the day before and got a head start on an assignment due Saturday for my online class.
I then met with my mother for lunch before heading off to class.
On Tuesdays I only have one class, so after that I headed home and got the majority of my participation and lab done for my online class.
Once my work was done, I started and finished a blog post scheduled for that Friday (10 Self-Care Products Under $10).
Wednesday February 20, 2019
My work schedule has been sporadic lately, but I was scheduled at 10am.
After waking early, I completed half of my reading assignment for one of the classes I have Thursday.
I left for work and after I got off of work, headed home to shower and change before going to my other job.
I struggled with motivation to finish my reading assignment for one of the classes I have Thursday, so I made myself a coffee with foamed almond milk.
I finished it before watching a few episodes of Netflix.
Ironically, I found out that specific class would be canceled that day because my professor had jury duty.
Thursday February 21, 2019
After waking early, I made myself a huge detox or “spa” water and ate one of the pomegranate Greek yogurts I bought from Trader Joe’s with a handful of granola.
I drank the water and ate my breakfast while looking over my to-do list for the day.
I made a call at 9am before jumping into my work for my online class.
After double-checking my work, I submitted the two assignments and took the quiz (both due Saturday but I love getting things done early).
I was still a little hungry and wanted something substantial before heading off to campus, so I made a half of an everything bagel with a fried egg and cheese.
I left for campus two hours before I normally do to meet with my professor for my online class during her office hours. I got my questions about the lab due the Saturday after that week answered so I could get it finished and submitted early (so I didn’t have to do it on vacation).
After office hours, I went to the Starbucks on campus to get one of my favorites: a Venti iced green tea unsweetened.
It was after I got my iced green tea that I started writing this blog post!
After starting this blog post, I reviewed and updated my planner and calendar planner before heading off to class.
I went home after my first class since my second class of the day was canceled.
I finished the reading notes for my third class of the day and left around 615pm to head to campus and find parking.
My third class was 7pm-945pm.
Friday February 22, 2019
It was Friday! Yay!
What better way to start the weekend than a follow up appointment for a root canal at 830am?
In all honesty, it wasn’t too bad.
After the endodontist appointment, I came home and worked on a paper due the following Thursday.
Around 5pm, my mother and I left to grab dinner before the concert we were going to.
I had bought her tickets for a Justin Timberlake concert back in November, but the original date was cancelled and postponed til February.
The concert was great!
